Authentic, Flexible & Unforgettable – A Tailor-Made East Africa Safari From start to finish, our private 11-day safari in Uganda and Kenya with All in Africa Safaris surpassed every expectation. Nicholas and his team expertly customized our trip—combining chimpanzee trekking in Kibale, gorilla tracking in Bwindi, and an epic Great Migration safari in the Masai Mara—while switching our Uganda segments to fly-in safaris for maximum wildlife time and minimal road travel. Their flexibility, responsiveness, and deeply personal approach made us feel truly cared for.Why this trip was exceptional:Wildlife moments that stunned us — up-close chimps swinging within arm’s reach; an entire gorilla family just feet away in the forest; lions lounging under our vehicle; thousands upon thousands of wildebeest and zebras on the move.Cultural immersion with heart — dancing and sewing with the Batwa tribe, celebrating at a local wedding, and playing soccer alongside spirited kids in Kibera (Chocolate City) gave so much more meaning to our journey.Lodging that told a story — every lodge was carefully selected. From the treetop tranquility of Turaco, to the heartfelt warmth of Rushaga Gorilla Camp, to The Rain Eco Lodge’s serene lakefront setting — each stay felt special and intentional.Celebrating our 30th anniversary in the air — the sunrise hot-air balloon ride over the Mara was downright magical and a memory we’ll forever cherish.Nicholas’ team was proactive (even arranging a last-minute lodge change to The Rain Eco Lodge when our flight was delayed), knowledgeable, and genuinely dedicated. If you want a real, custom safari adventure in Uganda and Kenya that feels everything but cookie-cutter, All in Africa Safaris is the one to trust.

Fantastic organised trip with each day a new super nice adventure! All in Africa Safaris organised a fantastic tour for us. We have thoroughly enjoyed our trip. It was excellently planned and a real adventure. Incredible many things we have done and seen. In a packed program from beginning to the end… exactly as it should be for us. All was very good. Because of our limited time All in Africa Safaris managed to organise this all with sometimes creative solutions (e.g. our guide driving the car around part of Lake Victoria for 3 hours and picking us at the other end, while we were enjoying a trip to the Mabamba Swamp and crossing the water with two other guides). Showing thus the care and dedication for making this packed plan happening. We chose All in Africa Safaris because it offered a tour (with the same itinerary) which was much (!) cheaper than the tour operator in my home country. All in Africa Safaris showed to be a very reliable operator who are listening to and fulfilling al our expectations. I.e. we asked for some Bush Camping in Murchison NP, which seemed to be new to them. The bush camping was perfect. We loved the small tents. For me that is how it should be, however I realize that for others the tents might be too basic. Thank you for organizing this all, as I realise that All in Africa Safaris were pretty hesitant of this idea. We very much enjoyed all our safari’s. All these were accompanied by very (!) knowledgeable rangers. Especially to mention our safari team with Joseph, Silva, Faith and Ken…. Very special people! Joseph our guide, took incredible care of us during the whole trip, driving well and safely. Really a joy! Together with other Silva, Faith and Ken the bush camping became one to never forget. The eyes to spot wildlife and know birdlife of Silva (our ranger) are incredible. The (camping) cooking skills and personality of Faith such a pleasure. The humour and driving skills of Ken a joy. Besides the game drives (even all big and small game and birds), the bush camping dinner on the 2nd bush camp night was a highlight of our trip when it ended with a beautiful nightly warm discussion / exchange with the team. Please forward my gratefulness to all of them.Once more big thank you for making this trip an unforgettable experience!

Amazing 6 days safari in Uganda This was my second trip with All in Africa safari’s and it was again a once in a lifetime experience! Me and my father loved every second of it. Our trip was a 6 day trip including bush camping in Murchison National park, chimps trekking and seeing the lions in Queen. It was a fullly packed program but our tour guide Joseph made sure we could do and see everything! The lodges were amazing and everything was really well planned and organised. Thanks a lot All in Africa safaris!

Perfect 4 days Safari in Murchison Falls, with Rino trekking in Ziwa Rino Sanctuary! We started our trip in Kampala where our experienced driver picked us up in good time. We drove to the Ziwa Rhino sanktuary, where we had an unforgettable incounter with the Rinos up close. It was magnificent. From there we drove to our Lodge, the Pakuba lodge situated by the Nile. The lodge kept its promisese in all ways, and delivered electric power 24 hours. I need this for my c-pap machine when i am sleeping. The game drive was perfect, an we saw all the animals that we had dreamed of, due to our experienced guide. All in Africa Safaris took great care of us during the whole Safari experience, and i recomend this to all people dreaming of a perfect and affordable Safari!

Better than I could have dreamed!! Highly recommend! I just got back from a 5-day curated itinerary with All in Africa Safaris, and it far exceeded any and all expectations I had for the trip, which included gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, visiting the Batwa people, a guided boat tour down the Kazinga Channel with elephants and hippos, and 2 game drives through Queen Elizabeth National Park. It was my first time in Uganda (and Africa), and it was fantastic. Accommodations were better than I would have picked out for myself, the itinerary was full but not overwhelming, and my guide Ksam was the best. As a solo female traveler, Ksam made me feel safe, advocated for, and kept me well-fed. I cannot thank him enough for making the trip so amazing. When I got back to my home base in Entebbe, Ksam worked with Nicholas to add a bonus day in Kampala to my itinerary, which was unexpected but such a great add-on to learn more about Ugandan history and culture.

Outstanding in every way. Far exceeded expectations. Our experience in Uganda was sensational due to our amazing guides from All in Africa Safaris and their brilliant planning, organising and care of us. They organised an action packed and diverse experience which had components of culture, environment, physical challenge. I loved the physical challenge of trekking in the Rwenzori Mountains and felt exceptionally well supported by our knowledgeable and caring guides. The boat trip on the Kazinga channel where we saw the so many animals, our visit to a minority community, the Batwa people, our bathing in local hot springs, stopping at roadside markets, trekking to see the gorillas in Bwindi impenetrable national park, our driving safari and seeing Lions and many other animals in Queen Elizabeth National Park, visiting the salt mine in Lake Katwe, visiting islands on Lake Bunyonyi and staying in some amazing hotels including 4 Gorillas Lodge and The Bush Lodge, and 2 Friends. Our guides read our needs and interests so well and were always responsive to these and very caring of us. We felt very safe travelling across the country with our expert driver who was skilled in the way he drove sometimes challenging roads. Our guides Jonan and Francis were very knowledgeable and shared openly with us. They made us feel very special and nurtured. I would highly recommend this company All In Africa Safaris to people of any age. The trip will be tailored to your interest and skill level.

Fantastic wild life experience! Are just back from two amazing weeks on a tailor made safari with All in Africa Safaris in Uganda. The team - planners and drivers - made sure we got the best of wild life experiences in this beautiful country - from rhino trekking, game drives in Murchisons Falls and Queen Elizabeth National Park, to meeting the chimpanzees and the major highlight - visiting the gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. In between we were walking, cycling and riding among giraffes and zebras and had a go at paddling the traditional wooden canoes. Accommodation was great throughout - worth special mention are Four Gorillas in Bwindi, Turaco Treetops in Kibale National Park and Rwakobo Rock in Lake Mburo National Park. We were eight people traveling comfortably in two Toyota Land cruisers. Even if the roads sometimes feel quite scary and challenging from an European perspective we felt very safe. Would recommend the team any day! Out trip could not have been better. Have done several safaris in East Africa and this is definitely one of the best we have had.

12 day safari with my family All In Africa safaris organised a 12 day safari-trip for my family travelling around national parks intertwined with rainforests. They were very accommodating and flexible during the planning process, helping us change find quality hotels with various price classes, keeping our trip both adventurous and comfortable throughout! There was no problem with the communication around the airport pickup and transfer back when we were leaving, even though considering the early/late hours we were flying. During the trip we were very comfortable in the car and with the drivers, especially when the roads and weather were not to our favour. Everything felt very professional and organised before and during the trip and I would recommend All in Africa safaris to any friends wishing to travel around i Uganda.

COMMON QUESTIONS FROM TRAVELERS IN THE USA & CANADA

Safety, Security, and Ease. When you book with All in Africa Safaris USA, your payments go to a US Bank Account (Utah), not an overseas wire transfer. You are dealing with a licensed American business subject to US standards. We bridge the gap—giving you the direct pricing of a local operator with the reliability and communication you expect at home.

We operate strictly in the stable tourism corridors of Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, and Tanzania. We monitor local conditions closely and have a trusted local team in place. As a US-owned company, we take a cautious approach to risk. Your safety is our top priority.

Standard Gorilla Trekking allows you 1 hour with the gorillas once found. The Habituation Experience allows you 4 hours with the gorillas and researchers. Habituation is perfect for photographers or those who want a deeper connection, but permits are limited to just 4 people per day. We can arrange either experience for you.

Most "affordable" safaris force you into a minivan with 6 strangers on a fixed schedule. We don't. You get your own private 4x4 Land Cruiser and your own dedicated guide. You decide when to wake up, when to stop for photos, and how long to watch the lions. We offer this exclusivity for the same price big companies charge for a crowded bus seat.

We cover all of East Africa. While our headquarters are in Uganda (The Pearl of Africa), we specialize in Combined Itineraries. Many of our clients trek Gorillas in Uganda and then fly to the Serengeti in Tanzania or the Masai Mara in Kenya for the classic Big 5 safari. We handle all the logistics, border crossings, and flights.

Not if you don't want to. While driving offers great sightseeing, road transfers in East Africa can be long (8-10 hours). We specialize in Fly-In Safaris, utilizing scheduled bush flights to get you from Entebbe to Bwindi or the Serengeti in just over an hour. It maximizes your time with the wildlife and minim
